Today’s Sound formed its LLC on April 1st of 2026. Though Today’s Sound started long ago with the pulling of my first speaker wire for my 7th grade Sock Hop in 1982 where I played a DJ. Today’s Sound evolved into a long standing DJ, Karaoke, Live Sound and Lights and eventually an RF Engineering company. I closed Today’s Sound in early 2025 to go full time with NRG Media as the Regional Chief Engineer. After the announcement of sale of the Central NE market to Usher Media Group and Lincoln Market to Connoisseur Media, I realized it was time to step up my game and go back out on my own and form a company that included a cooperative of engineers who enjoy the work we do and want to help those small and larger broadcasting groups who appreciate the level of dedication we put into our daily work. After making a small investment in equipment, I am pleased with and appreciate the trust that the following companies have given Today’s Sound, LLC in its first month of service! This will continue to grow and we’re looking forward to working with you!
Equally, I appreciate the willingness and collaboration of our cooperative of Engineers. Ken Beckwith of Beckwith Technical Service has been instrumental in helping to get us off the ground. Being retired, Ken has been able to test our investment of equipment in live application and filed reports for archive on our servers and because we’re still a bit old school; our file cabinets.
