From your STL transmitter – Encoder and amplifier to the antenna on your roof or tower to the broadcast tower antenna to the STL Receiver – Decoder and throughout the audio chain including the high RF transmitter terminating at the load, (Antenna). RF Engineering is complex and not the same at every installation. Though the concept is the same, many variables are in play. From the old CCA transmitter to the latest and greatest solid state, maintenance is key to keeping you on the air and generating revenue. With Today’s Sounds cooperative of Engineers, we have you covered in any situation be it emergent or regular monthly visits. Today’s Sound will work with you regarding frequency of visits. Today’s Sound can consult and oversee new installations, upgrades and or repairs. Today’s Sound primarily works with AM and FM broadcast transmitters but, have some experience in television.
Today’s Sound offers a repair service for small RF amplifiers, transmitters or other equipment like an STL pair that we can load and transport to our shop in Lincoln. We have a very limited supply of loaner equipment. We’ve also built relationships with Angry Audio, Winntronics and all major manufacturers of transmitters and the peripheral equipment.
Today’s Sound has access to all the major plumbing from the PA to the antenna along with all the performance test equipment. Today’s Sounds goal is to help you stay on the air at full TPO.
